Zaskia Putri
Zaskia Putri obtained two law degrees from the University of Indonesia Faculty of Law and the University of Washington School of Law. Prior to coming to the United States, Zaskia had been a practicing attorney in Indonesia for 4 years, making Zaskia now a dual-licensed attorney both in Indonesia and Washington State.
Encouraged by her mother, who saw her natural talent for law from an early age and believed she would excel as a lawyer, Zaskia decided to pursue a career in the legal field.
Zaskia specializes in personal injury law, with a focus on motor vehicle accidents and premise liability. Zaskia has wide experience working on cases from initial stage through settlement; including pre-litigation, mediation, arbitration, and at trial. She has successfully handled high-profile cases, such as representing 46 victim families in a wrongful death lawsuit against Boeing for the 373 Max 8 plane crash.
Zaskia believes the key ingredients to getting her clients the best compensation possible is her relationship with clients and being able to be a successful storyteller for her client’s story in front of a jury or insurance companies. Zaskia practices at Van Law Firm’s Lakewood and Yakima offices. She is also a member of the Washington State Association for Justice and runs an annual charity program supporting rural areas of Indonesia.
When Zaskia isn’t litigating her case or negotiating with insurance companies, she enjoys traveling in her spare time. Her other hobbies include cooking, reading, and raising her newly adopted kitten, Cocopuff.
