Sandy Van is the owner and managing attorney of Van Law Firm. Ms. Van is licensed to practice law in Nevada state and federal courts and Washington state courts.
She is an alumnus of William S. Boyd School of Law. While studying law, she interned for the Honorable Judge Nancy Saitta (formerly Justice Nancy Saitta of the Nevada Supreme Court) in the Eighth Judicial District Court of Nevada. Following law school, she clerked for the Honorable David Barker, District Court Judge, Clark County, Nevada (formerly the Chief Judge of the Eighth Judicial District Court of Nevada.) Prior to law school, Sandy earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance at the University of Nevada Las Vegas.
Van Law Firm focuses on personal injury law, motor vehicle collisions, premises liability cases, dangerous drugs (Zantac), and defective medical devices such as hernia mesh, ParaGard IUDs, Allergan Biocell textured breast implants.
Ms. Van’s prior experience includes civil litigation, business litigation, real estate law, deficiency law, foreclosures, contract matters, bankruptcy law, and collection matters. Prior to opening Van Law Firm, Sandy represented banks, auto dealerships, shopping malls, medical facilities, and other businesses with their litigation matters.
Van Law Firm has offices located in Lakewood, Washington, and Las Vegas, Nevada. The law firm has also amassed numerous awards and recognitions, including Mountain States Super Lawyers 2020, People Love Us On Yelp 2019, Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Companies 2019, Martindale-Hubbell Platinum Client Champion 2019, The National Trial Lawyers Top 25 Motor Vehicle Trial Lawyers 2019, and her favorite award Nevada Legal Service’s 2016 Pro Bono Solo Practitioner of the Year award.
Sandy currently resides in Nevada and Washington. In her free time, she spends time creating and running several businesses, playing poker, and trading stocks. She enjoys traveling and speaking at conferences and mentoring other attorneys on how to run a more efficient law firm. She also donates time and money to several philanthropic causes namely education, children, and those who are victims of horrific crimes.
