Tracee Duthie is a personal injury litigation attorney at Van Law Firm. She has been licensed to practice law in Nevada since 2004. Ms. Duthie focuses her practice on personal injury law, premise liability law (for example slip and falls), and product liability law and mass torts. Prior to joining Van Law Firm, Ms. Duthie practiced general civil litigation, insurance defense litigation, additional insured litigation, construction defect litigation, and medical malpractice. She is licensed to practice in Nevada’s District Court and Federal Court.
Ms. Duthie has successfully settled numerous multi-million dollar cases. She has worked both as a defense attorney and a plaintiff’s attorney making her highly skilled at personal injury law. Ms. Duthie has also practiced before the Nevada Supreme Court and has filed several briefs before the Nevada Supreme Court.
Prior to moving to Las Vegas, Nevada, Ms. Duthie has resided in Spokane Washington; Fairbanks, Alaska; and Chicago, Illinois. Prior to law school, Ms. Duthie earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (emphasis in Human Resource Management) from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois in 2003.
Ms. Duthie had several accomplishments at the John Marshall School of Law. She was a member of The Journal for Computer and Information Technology, which she later became the editor of. She was awarded the Dean’s List Scholarship. She studied intellectual property law with an emphasis in copyright and trademark infringement.
